View/Edit Office documents in web client locally

In the new version 7.1.6, WingFTP added a function "View/Edit Office Files" in web client, now you can view or edit Office documents locally without installing Office software or using online service.

You can use this function in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, and it requires the Google Chrome extension "Office Editing for Docs, Sheets & Slides": https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... gdpimamgkj


How to edit/view Office documents?
Just select an Office document file by clicking on its filename first, then click the button "View/Edit Office Files" on the top.
