Users Last login time is incorrect and not updating

Wev'e a few users that although we can see in the logs that they've connected via sftp and have uploaded and downloaded files the last login time is not updating. One user in question I've seen files be uploaded and downloaded by them this morning (10th January 2026) but their last login time on the user statistics is still showing as 1st October 2025.

The rest of the statistics for login count, uploaded and downloaded look correct and are incrementing but the last login time isn't. This is causing us some pain as we're using this time to detect and disable inactive accounts and if it's not updating then it's causing issues.

Other users seem to be updating fine. What can we check or is this a bug?

The last login time will be updated only if the logged in user is a local user, not a mapped LDAP user or AD user.

These are all local users created purely in wingftp.

Which version of WingFTP are you running? I just tested with the latest version 8.1.1 and no issue was found.

Just upgraded to latest other day. Out of the office today, but will be looking tomorrow to see if it's still doing.
