I'm struggling to understand how to get group mappings working for LDAP authenticated users.
I want some users to login using LDAP authentication, have access to the default FTP home directory, but also have read only access to a shared downloads area.
I've created the Downloads group with access to the downloads directory and a virtual directory called Downloads. If I create a local user and add it to the download groups, I can login as that user and see the Downloads directory and files as expected.
How do I do the same thing for LDAP authenticated users with LDAP groups that map to the Download group defined on the wftp server?
The only instructions I can find seem to relate to mapping LDAP groups to local users. I would like to map a group to a group so the authenticated user gets the group permissions.
Thanks

Re: LDAP Group mapping
OK, you can map the LDAP group to a local user, then all the LDAP users belong to this group can have all the attributes of the local user.
