Hi,
We are running wing ftp on a virtual machine. Everything works, however we cant seem to find the other drive when choosing where to set up the user directory. The drive just doesn't show up. is there a workaround to this or are we missing something?
Thanks

Is it a mapped drive? I found that it doesn't display mapped drives in the drop down list, but you can still access them, you just have to enter the full path to the drive, i.e. \\ComputerName\RootDirectory\SubFolder\

We are on Cent OS, the latest build and Wing FTP's latest update.
So what your saying is that as long as I know the name of the drive, I can type in the complete mapping info to get to the folder that I want it to be?

Yes, I'm not an expert, I'm only just trying out the software with a view to purchase, but it seemed to work for me. I couldn't see my mapped drives, but when I manually typed in the full path to them, the folders appeared with no problem.
Now, if only I can get my network configured so that people can access the web client :o(
