Shouldn't I be able to turn off the "list" attribute to have users be able to access and upload to a directory yet not be able to see the other contents of the directory? I have a directroy that I want all users to be able to upload to and only one user to be able to see what is in the directory and download. When I uncheck the list attribute on any user, the user loses all access to that directroy...

Hi,Woody
I have tested it what's you said, it has no problem!
You just need to check on the "Write" option, then you can upload files but can not see anything.

Re: Ability to list files inside a directory
Well that's bothersome...
Here's my settings for the folder in question
Here's what I get if I try to use IE8
Windows Explorer
FTP command line app
WinSCP
The server is on a fresh load of Windows 2000 professional SP4 fully patched.
If I check the "list" box, everything works just fine....
Plans are to purchase your product to replace some older FTP and SFTP servers we have here but I need to get this fixed before I can commit. Or if you're sure we can fix it, I buy it and we can work on it afterwards...

Re: Ability to list files inside a directory
OK, i see. The issue is that, when your virtual directory has no list permission, you can not change to that directory.
So we decide to fix this issue with next release version.
