Hello
I am on the latest version of WingFTP, does my windows xp server need to be logged on for WingFTP to be functional. I have it installed as a service but the server was rebooted and not logged onto there fore WinFTp was not functional until i logged on, I also have to run a script to stop and start Winftp at login otherwise it does not run

If you run the service with SYSTEM account, I think there will be no problem.

We have tested it on our computer, the service can startup successfully.
I doubt your issue was related with system permissions. Please check it, or try to run it on another computer.

will do, yes the service starts but there is no access to WingFTP unless i log in
