Wing FTP Software

Hello,
we experience poor performaces downloading large number of small files.
The trasfer time itself is short but every download starts after 4 seconds , so we have 4 secons * hundred of files...
We have the wing ftp proxy. The server is virtual with local storage.
We can copy all files quickly in windows without issues.

Any ideas?

OK, if the CPU usage is normal on your server, maybe the issue was caused by the client side, not the server side. Please make sure it is not affected by the 3rd party software, you may turn off all the related anti-virus/firewall software. You can also try other FTP/SFTP client software on another computer, or try the private mode if you are using the web browser.

I will try to investigate more.
Antivirus already removed, no server resource issues. no client side issues.
