Wing FTP Software

Hello everyone, I would like to switch my wing ftp server to ftps or sftp. Somehow it doesn't seem to work that way. If I remove the tick from ftp for a user, I no longer have access even though ftps and sftp are activated.
I try to access via es explorer with the setup via port 990 or port 22.
The simple ftp server works, however, without doing anything
What am I doing wrong? could someone give me detailed instructions? gladly also in German. Thanks

Please paste the related server logs, if you can't see any server logs, it indicates that the client side didn't connect to the server even.

OK, no FTPS/SFTP connections in the domain logs at all, it means the client didn't reach to the server.

If your server is behind a firewall/router, you need to forward the related listener ports first.

OK, what should I release and how? In my router I have only released port 21 so far. What else do I have to set in the firewall? and how can I see that the release works? I only know how to use ftp but not ftps or sftp. I can't find any instructions on how to do this anywhere. How exactly do I have to do what?

OK, it is network configuration, you can google about how to forward the listener port in the firewall.

How can I tell if something has changed? or what should be there if I did the port forwarding correctly?

Ich habe jetzt im Router die benötigten Ports freigegeben und versucht über ein anderes Gerät mit SFTP zuzugreifen. Das externe Gerät kann den server nicht erreichen und im Protokoll des WingFTP ist auch nichts von einem Zugriff zu sehen. Kann mir bitte jemand helfen?
ich möchte keinen FTP Verbindungen offen lanen und auf SFTP oder FTPS umstellen.
