Hello
I have set up HTTPS access across two sites and only allowed that protocol, can i just ignore the not trusted certificate or do i have to buy one for the server, we can live with the error on connection through the browser but is it still encrypted through SSL, thanks

Hi,
Yes, you are right. You don't have to purchase a reconized SSL certificate as the lack of it won't influence your normal use. Also as you said, all data are still encrypted with SSL. The pop-up warning might be a little annoying though. So if you don't want to be bothered by this warning, we suggest you buy an SSL certificate.
